3. Lots of pretty summer dresses - I NEED A TAN!!
4. A few more cardigans - a girl can't have enough of these.

5. At least 4 more coats. Preferably colorful.

I'm just trying to make sense of this mess I'm in.

I'm THIS close to deleting every account I have; facebook, blogspot, everything.

Best movies I've seen this year aka movies I need to buy on play.com in 2010

Being the control freak that I am I started a list (several actually) at the very beginning of 2009. In this list I wrote all the movie titles that I watched during this year. I'm not gonna say how many I watched though...I've watched quirky ones, scary ones, documentaries and mystery ones. These are the ones that I liked most. Please note that not all movies were released this year, but I did however watch them this year.

1. (500) Days of Summer
Admittedly I wasn't all that objective when I went to watch the movie. I simply love Zooey Deschanel and I was sure that the movie was going to be filled with pretty clothes and cute moments. I was right. But there was much more to it. "This is a story of boy meets girl", that's how the movie starts. The story is unlike another other story I've ever come across. THE BOY DOES NOT GET THE GIRL, and quite frankly that was a relief, the world is tired of those movies. Unlike the usual type of movie, the boy is the one who seems to have the hopeful, see the world in pink glasses kind of guy, while the girl can't be anymore cynical. I loved every moment of this movie.

2. Disturbia (BOUGHT THIS ONE)
I liked how this guy couldn't be anymore entrapped, yet somehow he managed to save his mom, friend and girlfriend. Shia LaBeouf is in this movie.

3. Fight Club
First Rule: You do not talk about Fight Club.
Second Rule: You do not talk about Fight Club.
Third Rule: When someone says "Stop" or goes limp, the fight is over.
Fourth Rule: Only two guys to a fight.
Fifth Rule: One fight at a time.
Sixth Rule: No shirts, no shoes.
Seventh Rule: Fights go on as long as they have to.
Eighth Rule: If this is your first night at Fight Club, you have to fight...

Chuck Palahniuk is a genius and this movie (based off a book) proves it. It's controversial, it's basically about a guy who can't possibly be anymore self-destructive.

4. Requiem for a Dream
I don't think I've ever watched a film that has left me so much in awe as this one. It's not a happy story, quite the opposite actually. It's heartbreaking. I especially loved the camera angles of this movie. I'm not the type to notice such things, but I did with this movie.

5. American Psycho
It's about a rich guy, who seemingly is absolutely perfect, seems very OCD to me. I don't think it mentions anything in the movie, but one would assume.

PS. It's a mere coincidence that Jared Leto stars in 3 of the movies....or is it?

Happy Christmas!

Happy Christmas everyone!
Hope you all have a wonderful day :)

Revelation?

All my life I have doubted myself, worried about how others saw me. And the funny thing is, it's silly. It's a waste of any one's time. I don't wanna waste my life worrying. And I can sincerely say that I don't care. I don't care if people don't think I'm sociable enough, pretty enough, cool enough. I'm good the way I am. I'm quirky, I'm flawed in so many ways, I can a total loser sometimes (or most of the time) but I'm okay with that cause at least I'm happy. These years only come once and I'm not going to keep stopping to see what I left behind. I think I'm growing up.

This is good.

*cool blog title goes here*

So I went to Malta today, doing a little Christmas shopping, stupid dentist appointment and a little something for myself to cheer me up after the dentist appointment.
My wardrobe is richer, cutest cardigan ever (Zara) and cutest vintage grey skirt (Topshop). I'm broke but I'm so darn happy. I texted my mom when I was leaving and I was like 'I bought the gifts and bought a little something something for meself..obviously' She replied with 'obviously...'. That cracked me up. Can't wait for tomorrow. :D

A regular day at the office.

[Michael reads off complaints filed by Dwight]
Michael Scott: OK, so Dwight, in your own words: "Someone replaced all my pens and pencils with crayons. I suspect Jim Halpert."
Michael Scott: Everyone has called me "Dwayne" all day. I think Jim Halpert paid them to.
Jim Halpert: [to camera, laughs] Yes. Five bucks each, and it was totally worth it.
Michael Scott: This morning, I found a bloody glove in my desk drawer, and Jim Halpert tried to convince me I committed murder. I think he may be the real murderer.
Michael Scott: Jim Halpert said there was an abandoned infant in the women's room, when I went to save the child, I saw Meredith on the can.
Michael Scott: This morning, I knocked myself in the head with the phone.
Jim Halpert: [to camera] That actually took a while. I had to put- uh, more and more nickels into his handset until he got used to the weight, and then I just took them all out.Michael Scott: Every time I typed my name, it said "Diapers".
Jim Halpert: [to camera] Just a simple macro. You know, these actually don't sound that funny, one after another. But he does deserve it, though.
Michael Scott: By the end of the day, my desk was about two feet closer to the copier.
Jim Halpert: [to camera] Yeah, I just moved it an inch every time he went to the bathroom, and that's how I spent the entire day that day.

Random.

life 101

So here's how it is. I'm not one of those people who gets angry at the smallest things. I try to believe in people, see the good in them, sometimes even justify their pure evil and hate. But how long can you keep justifying some one's behavior? So you quit, you quit making excuses, and you start to see the bigger picture and you just stop and realize how blind you were all along. They weren't nice to you because they liked you, they just needed you for something. They didn't start to hang out with you because they enjoyed your company, they just wanted your friends and they didn't pick other people because they forgot all about you, but because they didn't need you anymore. So they lie, because that's what liars do. And then come the weird stares from people you've never talked to before, and you start to wonder what they said this time.

Back.

I haven't blogged in a while. Stuff happened. Christmas is near, I've never been a fan of it. I told my mom last time, and she said that Christmas was never really one of my favorite holidays, since I was a child actually. For some reason the month of December and Christmas holidays makes me feel lonely. Hopefully this year, it will be different. Already made plans with the bestest friends EVAR (hehe), so I do think I deserve to have a little fun I guess. I recently bought a dress and this cool like biker vintage leather jacket. Can't wait till I get to try them out.

School related, it's pretty bad. I feel like I'm wasting my time, one of my teachers seems to have NO boundaries whatsoever, I mean, her ethics, or lack of, really frustrate me. I wanted to go to the headmaster about an episode which happened this week but then I was like, why do I even bother, the headmaster will always agree with the teacher and put all the blame on the student. Like always.

Anyhoo, can't wait for the 20th :D. It's going to be LEGENDARY.

Toodles and happy fucking christmas everyone.
